At Lotuspace Interiors, we recognize that life sometimes brings changes, and so do design preferences. If, upon delivery, you find yourself with a product that doesn’t quite fit your vision, don’t worry. We’re here to help. Whether you receive a damaged or defective Lotuspace product or one that doesn’t meet our initial specifications, we’ve crafted a seamless return, exchange, and refund process that ensures your satisfaction.

Your Options, Our Promise

When facing an unforeseen hiccup with your order, we offer a range of options to make things right:

Rectification or Replacement:

Your satisfaction is paramount to us. If you receive a damaged or defective product, we’ll ensure it’s promptly replaced or repaired.

Product Exchange:

In case your preferences evolve, and you desire a different product, we're here to accommodate. If the value of the new product exceeds that of the returned one, simply pay the difference. If the new product costs less, we'll either refund the excess amount or provide store credit, based on your preference.

Store Credit:

Sometimes, your design aspirations may take a different route. In such instances, we’ll offer you store credit that you can use towards future purchases with us.

At Lotuspace Interiors, rest assured that whatever path you choose, you’ll ultimately end up with a product that perfectly aligns with your vision.

Conditions for Returns

To ensure a seamless return experience, please adhere to the following conditions:

  • All returned products must be unused, accompanied by their original price tags and labels.
  • Present the original invoice upon returning the merchandise.
  • Our dedicated quality assurance team will scrutinize all returned items within 72 hours of your request. Only after passing our rigorous quality assessment will we proceed with processing the return.

Please Note:

  • Customized furniture items purchased from Lotuspace Interiors cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Non-manufacturing defects or damages reported after delivery will not qualify the product for returns or replacements.
  • Due to their made-to-order nature, modular kitchens and wardrobes are exempt from the return or exchange policy.

Initiating a Return:

To initiate a return, simply send an email to  contact@lotuspace.in within 3 days of receiving your order.

The 72-Hour Inspection Policy

We understand your time is valuable. Once you inform us about your return request, we’ll swiftly dispatch a Lotuspace executive to your location for inspection. Rest assured, your return process will be set in motion within 72 hours if applicable.

Replacement Timeline

After your return request is accepted, the time frame for your replacement to reach you may vary depending on the product. Throughout the process, a Lotuspace representative will keep you informed, ensuring that your new product finds its way to you at the earliest convenience.

Understanding the Delay Penalty

At Lotuspace Interiors, we value your time as much as we value your trust. Our Delay Penalty policy is designed to ensure timely handovers of your projects. Here’s a breakdown of how it works:

Delay Penalty Definition: The Delay Penalty is activated when project handovers are delayed beyond 15 days from the confirmed move-in date* communicated in the Project Schedule, following the raising of all sales orders.

Penalty Calculation: The penalty accrues at a rate of 0.1% of the total Project Value per day, for each day beyond the initial 15 days from the committed move-in date.

For Example: Consider a project with a Move-In Date on July 1st, 2019, and a Project Value (net offer/discount) of INR 10,00,000/-. If the handover is delayed beyond July 16th, a penalty of INR 1,000 (0.1% of INR 10,00,000/-) per day will apply.

Maximum Penalty: The maximum penalty payable cannot exceed 3% of the total project value.

Move-In Definition: For a project to be considered “ready to move-in,” the kitchen, living area, bedrooms, and bathrooms must be functional. Minor snags that do not hinder the functionality of the home do not disqualify it from being considered “ready to move-in.”

Penalty Payout Process:

The Delay Penalty is refunded directly to your bank account, provided that 100% payment has been completed and the project handover has taken place.

Exceptions to Delay Penalty:

The Delay Penalty policy does not apply in the following cases:

  • Modifications or design changes post communication of the move-in date, including changes in scope, material, finish, aesthetic, or functional changes.
  • Projects involving customer-handled scope of work, where the execution duration is factored into the move-in date.
  • Delay caused by restricted or delayed access to the site for Lotuspace or partner scope of work.
  • Unavailability of consistent power or water supply during execution, which impedes progress.
  • Delays due to non-payment, partial payment, or customer-dependent approvals.
  • Delays caused by third-party/marketplace brand products not under Livspace’s direct control.
  • Force Majeure events, encompassing acts of nature, unforeseen supply shocks, changes in law, and more. In such cases, customers are promptly informed of delays.
